Mixman DM2 (PC Only)
This is a relatively in-expensive hardware controller that retales for $80. In conjuction with "DM2 to MIDI" software (free), it becomes a MIDI controller that can be used to cratch video in AVmixer Pro and AVplayer HD . The cratch rings will respond to velocity of your hand movement, giving you a realistic feel of a turntable. Click here to see Mixman DM2 in action (launch video)

Ms. Pinky Video Scratch System
(to purchase or support, please visit Ms. Pinky homepage)
Ms. Pinky is a prepriotory system that utilizes unique audio-control signals to manipulate video similar to what Final Scratch does with digital audio. Neuromixer have adopted this technology and intergrated to our popular software video mixer.

Using the turntable of your choice, this system gives you the precise control over video as you manipulate the pink records under your fingertips. For $99, you will get 2 pink and 2 black records plus software for PC DJs.

Setup instructions:
-Connect the DJ mixer's master output, or the pre-amplified signals from the turntable into your computer's sound-in. Make sure you are getting a healthy signal level from the Ms. Pinky Vinyl Record (it sounds like noise).
-In the Volume Controls Window, mute “line-in” to avoid hearing the control signal from your computer speakers.
-Turn on the Ms. Pinky turntable 1 in the Preferences window. A second turntable requires a soundcard with a second set of audio inputs.

Hercules DJ Console

Although Hercules DJ Console's two jog wheels doesn't scratch as well as DM2 or Ms. Pinky, its intuitive layout allows easy access to most of the functions in AVmixer Pro and AVplayer HD. The latest driver enables this unit to function as a Midi controller, similar to a Midi Keyboard. It is also an external USB sound card w/ 6 audio outputs, ideal for cueing sound. Retail price $250.

The overall layout of the DJ Console is cramped, the buttons are close together and sliders are tiny. We recommend that you try before burchase.
